Alan Patrick
Co-founder and Principal, Broadsight
Alan Patrick is co-founder and Principal of Broadsight, a specialist Digital Media/Web 2.0 consultancy and system design house. Alan has worked in the Tech/Media/Telecoms (TMT) industry for over 20 years in a number of senior roles – strategic, operational and corporate development - at both blue chip and startup businesses such as British Telecom, Globix and Jacobs Rimell. He has worked across Europe, Asia and the USA. He has also consulted in the TMT space for McKinsey and Deloitte.
Alan co-founded Broadsight two years ago, which handles end to end work from strategy through to beta system design and build.
Projects to date include work in online interactive advertising, social networks and directories, open source system design and build, interactive TV, mobile advertising, mobile interactive media, DRM and Podcasting strategy. Over the years Alan has written, lectured and spoken on many of the areas (technology, economic and social) touched by the Multimedia Internet. Current research is into Web TV and PC-Mobile immersive virtual worlds.
