Speaker Biography

Heinrich ArnoldHeinrich Arnold
Vice President, Innovation Development, Deutsche Telekom

Dr. Heinrich Arnold heads up ‘Innovation Development’ for Deutsche Telekom AG, which means Applied Corporate R&D. Prior to this, he helped to prepare the large scale spin-off of Telekom’s TV cable business and led organizational and strategic projects in the context of innovation at Deutsche Telekom AG.

Before his engagement at Deutsche Telekom AG, he worked for Mercer Management Consulting and as a member of the management team of the German/Chinese research company Bicoll Group. Arnold studied Technical Physics at Munich Technical University. He graduated with a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University, a Master of Business Research from Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich and MIT, as well as a Ph.D. in Technology Management.

Dr. Arnold is a lecturer in Innovations Management, the author of the scientific book "Technology Shocks" on the management of radical technological change.
