Pearse Connolly
Vice President of Football, Telenor
Pearse Connolly likes football and innovation in digital media. This fits well with his current responsibility for business development and innovation for Telenor's national and international football activities.
This is the first activity Telenor has started across it's TV, mobile and fixed divisions.
The football group is charged with acquiring and maximising the value of the media rights and to position Telenor as a cross platform supplier of premium content.
Previously Pearse was a Senior Analyst to the management team of Telenor Broadcast. He was a founding member of Telenor's interactive TV company Zonavi where he served as Director of Service Development.
In 2005 Pearse's team won Telenor's international innovation competition where almost 500 ideas were submitted from across the group. He is also an external examiner for the Master's course in Interaction Design and Physical Computing at the Oslo School of Architecture.
