Speaker Biography
Peter Tomsu
Senior Director, Cisco Systems
Dr. Peter Tomsu has been working in the telecommunications and data communications industry for more than 22 years. His career gave him practical experience in hardware and software design, product management and technical management. He became trainer and consultant several years ago and joined Cisco Systems in 1996 as Senior Consultant where he has been involved in the design and realization of a large number of networks worldwide.
His focus in the last years is on advanced optical research where he is involved in several research activities worldwide as well as High Performance Computing and deployment of NGN IP architectures and services. Dr. Tomsu has a long experience in teaching advanced technical classes. He received his Ph.D. from the Technical University of Vienna.
