Ricardo Krikke
Innovation Director, INEC (international network of e-communities)
Ricardo Krikke (34) is innovation director at the International Network of E-Communities (INEC). In this position he co-manages the exchange and collaboration among e-community members, their 'digital city' projects and their broadband deployment. In his responsibility focusing on the usage of broadband services in every day life and setting up an international incubator-to-incubator program. INEC's board consists of Stockholm, Trikala (Greece), Amsterdam, UTOPIA (Utah, USA), Portodigital (Recife, Brazil) and Malaysia's Multimedia Super Corridor, Malta, Iceland and Dubai.
Earning his degree in Business Administration, he held several positions in the telecommunication market. From 2001-2005, Ricardo was responsible for the development of innovative broadband services in the government initiated project 'Kenniswijk', the Dutch national project for experimenting with broadband networks and services. At the time he is involved in the Dutch governmental connecting the dots program, forged to enhance an exchange of know how among local communities and their broadband projects in the Netherlands. Ricardo is also managing partner at Simpact, a Netherlands based innovation company, focused at bringing innovative user centric broadbandnetworks and - services from idea to result.
