Ronald Klingebiel
Director, Centre for Strategic Studies, Ashcroft International Business School, Cambridge

Ronald Klingebiel is the Director of the Centre for Strategic Studies at the Ashcroft International Business School in Cambridge, UK.

Within the Centre and as part of his professional background with leading strategy consultancies, he has worked in projects for a number of European telecommunications providers, for government ministries and several international organisations. He specialises in dynamic strategic planning and the management of flexibility in complex and uncertain investments. This involves decisions on next-generation networks as well as product and platform strategies.

His publications, such as the Edward Elgar book Strategic Reconfigurations: Building Dynamic Capabilities in Rapid Innovation-Based Industries (2007), as well as several leading journal articles and conference presentation, have contributed to the recent shift of the debate on investment planning and design from static to dynamic.
