Shane O'Flynn
VP Managed Services and Support, Openet
Shane assumed the role of VP of Managed Services and Support when Openet created this new division in late 2006. Prior to this he had held the roles of VP Product Management, Software Architect in the CTO office and Project Manager in Professional Services. He has worked with Openet for six years and has worked on both the product design and implementation of all the FusionWorks suite of products. He has fifteen years experience working in IT, ten of those in telecommunications.
Prior to joining Openet he worked as a Senior Consultant for Billing Mediation and CRM solutions for EDS Corp. and helped to build a successful Billing Services Bureau for tier two and three telcos in Europe. He has spent time working in over twenty telecoms companies worldwide on a wide range of billing, mediation and CRM projects. He represents Openet at the TeleManagement Forum and has spoken at many conferences in the US and Europe. He is a graduate of University College Dublin and has a BSc in Computer Science and Psychology.
