Thomas Welzel
Senior Manager Next generation Enablers, T-Mobile International
Thomas is a Telecoms engineer by education. He joined the mobile industry with the market introduction of GSM back in 1992, and has been working in various roles in technology, marketing, corporate strategy and business development. He has been with T-Mobile in Bonn for more than five years having previously worked for Orange in Switzerland and Hutchison Telecom in Münster. He is currently working on the technical and commercial evaluation of next generation enabling technologies. He contributes and chairs industry alignment activities in the GSMA and OMTP.
