Brian Condon
Managing Director
Close the Gap International
Brian recently accepted the position as MD of Close the Gap International, an innovative and successful FTTH promoter and developer established in the small town of Nuenen in the Netherlands. Close the Gap's success has meant that it is now spreading its message and methodology globally.
Brian also leads the work of Complexity Group, a Kent based strategy and technology advice and knowledge provider. He has over 15 years experience as a consultant and business developer. His work includes negotiating telecoms joint ventures in Ukraine and scenario planning for business and government at PA Consulting Group. Before founding Complexity Group, he was Managing Director of Close Brothers Corporate Finance Limited, part of the £1.5bn UK listed Close Brothers Group plc, where he directed the work of the media, IT and telecoms practice.
In addition to his commercial work, he is active in social and community enterprise. He is a board member of the Community Broadband Network (www.broadband-uk.coop), a social enterprise which helps communities access and actively use digital technologies.
