Carl Rijsbrack

Carl Rijsbrack has more than ten years of experience in the telecom-munication sector.
Starting with Alcatel as a project engineer, he has spent his first years operating and deploying telecom networks (SDH, ATM, IP) with a number of operators around the world. During that period a focus on managing networks drove him into network and service management solutions design and implementation.
Later on, Carl has been involved in the rollout of data networks for Alcatel, including xDSL, ATM, and IP. In this role he was taking care of the business strategies, solutions design, and operational implementation of these networks.
Most recently as VP Marketing and Communications for the Fixed Solutions Division of Alcatel, Carl was covering the marketing and communications of the applications (incl. IPTV, residential services, managed business communications) and control solutions (incl. IMS, NGN, Media Gateways) from Alcatel for the fixed service providers on a worldwide level.
Currently, Carl Rijsbrack is heading the Alcatel-Lucent Content Sharing Business Venture.
Carl holds a Master’s degree in computer science from the University of Antwerp (Belgium). He further obtained an international MBA from the EM-Lyon/Alcatel (France).
