Gabriele Elia
Head of Broadcast Solution Innovation, Telecom Italia
Gabriele Elia is Director of the Broadcast Solution Innovation Group in TILAB, the Telecom Italia Innovation, Engineering and Testing division.
Its interests are in the evolution of content-to-person and broadband services in broadband, broadcast and convergent networks.
Gabriele is currently heavily involved in the research and development of IPTV, DVB-H, DTT/MHP and mobile and music services.
Gabriele took its Masters and PhD in Electronical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and joined CSELT, former Telecom Italia Group R&D division in 1994. Since joining he has been involved in major IP services initiatives such as Interbusiness, Telecom Online, TIN.IT and the launch of broadband services over ADSL.
