Speaker Biography

Jim HoldenJim Holden
Managing Director, Syndication & Distribution, Google

Jim joined Google in 2005 and currently heads Google’s EMEA Syndication & Distribution teams across multiple platforms, products and ad formats.

Jim’s experience spans 20 years and covers a wide range of transactions, businesses and relationships around the globe, incorporating fixed and wireless telecommunications and the internet.

Jim has held senior roles in business development and relationship management as well as corporate development, and was formerly at Excite@Home where he was a member of the Supervisory Board of @Home Benelux. Jim has also held senior investment banking positions at Salomon Brothers, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse First Boston.

Jim began his career with five years of corporate law practice at White & Case, and he remains an active member of the New York Bar.

Jim has a JD from the University of Virginia, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Tax Review, and a BA from Amherst College.

A native of Washington, DC, Jim has for the past 16 years lived in London. He is married with three children.
