Jonathan Dann
Managing Director, European Wireline, Bear Stearns
Jonathan Dann joined Bear Stearns in December 2002 as Managing Director responsible for coverage of the European wireline sector. Prior to Bear Stearns he was at HSBC, where he built up the European alternative-operator product in 2000, moving to co-lead coverage of the European wireline sector in 2001. At HSBC, Jonathan ranked first in both Continental and UK wireline in the Reuters 2001 survey, and was rated for accuracy in 2002 and 2003 by Starmine and Extel.
Prior to HSBC, Jonathan worked for four years as a buyside European equities analyst, contributing to top decile performance of his fund in 1998 and 1999. He holds a PhD degree for chemistry from University College London.
